Microwave Chocolate Cake II
This recipe is for making an easy chocolate cake, with cheap ingredients that you're sure to have at home. Easy and quickly done in microwave.
Ingredients

- all purpose flour, 60 ml4 tbsp
- granulated sugar, white; 60 ml4 tbsp
- unsweetened cocoa, powder; 30 ml2 tbsp
- egg, whisked; 30 ml2 tbsp
- milk, 45 ml3 tbsp
- vegetable oil, 45 ml3 tbsp
- chocolate chips, or pine nuts or hazelnuts; source also gives 15 ml3 tbsp
- vanilla, and/or cinnamon, to taste
Quantities are auto-calculated from the original recipe as a guide. Items without numbers (e.g. “to taste”) are not changed.
Method 6 steps
Mix all the dry ingredients directly in a microwave-safe mug or bowl.
Add the egg and mix well.
Stir in the milk and oil.
Add the chocolate chips and vanilla. Stir well.
Microwave for 3 minutes at 1000w / 4 minutes at 700w / 3:30 minutes at 750w.
Cool slightly and enjoy.
